A four-stage, tempo-locked glitch chain that turns one sound into an evolving rhythmic system.

What it does

Fractured Frequency is not four effects sitting side by side — it's a fixed chain where every stage hands its altered audio to the next. GRANULAR SPLICE captures and replays short fragments, with optional reverse and recycle feedback; LoopMash turns those fragments into beat repeats; the Gate imposes one of several rhythmic personalities; a Ping-Pong Delay throws the result across the stereo field.

An internal Reverb send, master Mix and final Saturate stage finish it off. The gate can behave very differently — CONFUSION progressively changes the spacing between events, FRACTURE runs its own fixed 26-step shape, RANDOM applies the current random gate personality — and SHUFFLE rerolls that personality together with the LoopMash stutter order in one click, without changing which Gate Pattern is selected, all while it stays rhythmically locked.

Highlights

  • Four-stage chain: Granular Splice → LoopMash → Gate → Ping-Pong Delay
  • Granular Splice captures and replays short fragments, with optional reverse and recycle feedback
  • LoopMash repeats captured fragments for glitch-style replay; MASH controls its engagement
  • Three gate modes: Confusion, Fracture and Random
  • PATTERN controls the rhythmic loop/gate cycle length
  • Shared SMOOTHING softens both the LoopMash loop seam and Gate transitions
  • Tempo-synced Ping-Pong Delay with cross-feedback and a safety limiter
  • Internal Reverb send, master Mix and a final Saturate stage complete the chain
  • EXPORT MODE — 2x oversampling on the final Saturate stage for higher-quality final renders
