What this site records

ZERO9 keeps a small, anonymous record of how the plugin pages are used: which page was opened, which plugin a download or purchase click was for, which platform an installer was for, the country the request came from, and where the visit came from - a campaign tag on the link, or the hostname of the site that linked here.

It contains no cookies, no browser storage, no visitor or session identifier, no device fingerprint, no IP address and no advertising or third-party analytics tags. Nothing is written to your device, and there is nothing in these records that links one page view to another, or to you.

Referral information is recorded as a hostname only - for example www.example.com - never a full address, so nothing from the page you came from travels with it. Where a visit’s source is unknown, it is recorded as unknown rather than guessed.

Purchases are handled by Payhip, which is the merchant of record and holds the order and payment details under its own privacy terms. ZERO9 stores the email address and name needed to issue and send your licence. The only other email addresses ZERO9 holds are the ones people choose to give when downloading a demo, described below.

Questions about any of this: support@zero9.uk

Meta advertising

ZERO9 advertises on Facebook and Instagram. No Meta script runs on this site and no Meta cookie is set on your device - everything described above still holds. What happens instead is described in the next paragraph, and it happens on ZERO9’s servers rather than in your browser.

When a purchase completes, ZERO9’s own servers also send Meta a record of the sale: the product, the amount, the currency, and your email address as an irreversible SHA-256 hash. The hash lets Meta match the sale to an advert without ZERO9 handing over a readable address. Your name, your IP address and your payment details are never sent, and the hash cannot be turned back into your address.

If you leave your email with a demo

Downloading a demo never requires an email address. The download does not depend on it, is not held back until you give one, and is the same file either way.

If you do leave one, ZERO9 stores your email address, which page it came from, the country the request came from, and the campaign tag or referring hostname that brought you to the site. No name, no IP address, nothing about your device.

There are two separate things you can ask for, and they are kept apart. After you start a download you can ask ZERO9 to email you that download - one message, sent because you asked for it, and nothing follows it. Separately, you can tick a box to get occasional email about the plugins; that one is consent, and when you tick it ZERO9 also stores the date and the exact wording you agreed to. Leaving the box unticked does not stop your download email arriving, and it does not put you on any list.

Either way the address is used for nothing else. It is never sold, rented or shared, and it is not added to anything else - it is kept separately from the anonymous records described above, and the two are never joined together.

If you ticked the box, what you get is three emails and nothing after them: a note straight away - a welcome if you subscribed, or your download if that is what you asked for - then some ideas for the plugin you downloaded about three days later, and the Complete Suite offer about a week in. If you did not tick it, the first of those is the only email you get. They carry no images, no web fonts and no tracking pixel, so opening one reports nothing back - the links in them are tagged so ZERO9 can see which email produced a visit, and that is all. They are sent from hello@zero9.uk through Resend, the same email provider that sends licences, and replies go to a real person.

Every email has an unsubscribe link - both a one-click header your email app can act on and a link in the text - and using either stops all further emails immediately. Unsubscribing is recorded, so you stay unsubscribed even if the form is filled in again later. Addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask to be removed; to be deleted entirely rather than suppressed, email support@zero9.uk.
